I change the infrastructure of all the organization for voice and data, and interlock 4
cities using the operating system GNU &Linux, whit VPNs ( OpenVPNs ).
Implement and installed VoIP ( Asterisk ).
Centrallized all the connectivity for all the organization ( data ).
Made plans to prevent disasters.
Reduce the costs of maintains the infrastructure in 47% whit GNU & Linux.
Change the Ofimatic suite from microsoft office to OpenOffice.org this means that we save
like $500,000.00 pesos ( $41,600 DLL ) in software licenses.
Replace some dedicated servers running the operating system windows 2k3 for the operating system
GNU & Linux this change impacts costs too.
With my team we develop and install an application that reports the way that the organization is
selling in real time ( ScoreCards ).
Implant SugarCRM for telemarketing department and it works together whit VoIP.
Implant a ERP for production areas.
Since Oct-2006 to Dic-2007 we are expecting to save like $ 2'000,000.00 pesos some
like $ 166,666.00 DLL, in services and IT services
At charge of all IT projects, the evaluation of them, and like project manager reporting to the SEO,
financial and sales departments.
I made studies in costs, viabilities, about the projects.
I made business whit providers and re-negociate contracts and cancel some of them that
weren't necessaries.
I implant Internet rules and policies to use them inside the Organization.
I migrate applications that where living on Microsoft Windows to GNU/Linux.
I coordinate the support levels fot the users.
I implement monitoring systems for all the organization to check the servers and devices status all
the time using CACTI, Nagios, Ntop all this using SNMP.
Implant a system for OnLine Backups.
All this in just 10 months in this job.

I starts on this Company in 2000.
Activities:
The main activities was programing, using Visual Basic 6.0 and MSSQL.
After 18 months the project that I was in concluded and finally was stable.
My position at this company was at charge of systems and support areas.
Using GNU & Linux I interlock different places whit our main center in Guadalajara Jalisco
this because we has an ERP software.
After this project I toke all the IT department at mi charge and systems areas.
Create new disaster and recovery plans because the original onces where obsolete at this time.
Prepare and execute the migration of the data bases to a superior version of MSSQL ( 6.0 to 8.0 ).
Change some of our servers that where running Microsoft Windows to GNU/Linux.
I add new mixed technologies to the CO like: GNU & Linux: File servers, web server, email server,
and for windows: exchange, terminal services, PDC, BDC, etc.... also I know UNIX.
Support, maintainer of servers, connectivity, databases, users training, at charge of IT and Systems
where activities that I whas at chrge.
Also... help desk and some times development, Remote support using SSH or some others tools.
I take decisions whit sales departments for new applications and for acquiring new equipment.
I take whit the CEO to keep the company working in IT areas and the impact of this at small
and short time.

- In Jun 2005
- I start a Business Process... Re engineering (BPR), whit sales and IT, departments to re create tasks
and process, this work give me the chance to know Elektra one of the most biggest companies in Mexico
and Sud-America.
- After this reconstruction of process the company increase productivity and customers satisfaction was the
most important and relevant isue that happend.
- I install and manage a CRM software, and I was working in a Data Warehouse analysis, at this point we
just add new features to one aplication that we made when we work whit Elektras Group.
- A personel success weas that I meet Elektras group IT TEAM and they where surpriced about our
technologies using GNU & Linux, eventually they askme for some isues and they invitme to participate
closelly in a big migration after this, we nterlock our server to get new and fresh data from our system,
this server side aplication works under GNU/Linux whit PHP like native language and MySQL, PostgresSQL
like databases.
- In Nov 2005
- We starts a proyect a develop of an aplication, originally the time to finish it was for 5 months...
we end it in just 3!!, just because we don't whant to lose Electras Group; This apication impacts
Elektras Group.
